Welcome to the Plumpton Players

Based in the village of Plumpton Green at the foot of the South Downs in Sussex, Plumpton Players has been in existence since 1994.

Since that time we've staged a couple of productions a year. These have ranged across the whole spectrum of theatre and have brought a lot of enjoyment to audiences and members alike. We're always on the look out for new members regardless of experience, of all ages and both sexes - what counts is enthusiasm for 'Am-Dram' and a genuine willingness to get involved. Of course it takes commitment, but we have a lot of fun along the way, give pleasure to others in our community - and have some very good parties!

We need more actors, more directors (actual or wannabes), more backstage crew: set designers/builders, wardrobe assistants, bar staff, producers, make-up, lighting - you name it, we'd like to hear from you! Maybe you've been thinking about whether to do an evening class or get involved in some community activity, and like the thought of getting to know some new friends at the same time. Well, look no further: here's your chance to get involved in theatre, meet new people in our area, and - most of all - have fun!
